A restaurant employee was hacked to death in Karaikudi. Police arrested two individuals in connection with the incident.
Chinnarasa, 32,, a resident of Saali near Karaikudi in Sivaganga district, worked at a restaurant in Karaikudi. He was living with a woman named Vennila. On Thrusday night, he was standing near Peyanpatti. At that time, two individuals arriving on two-wheelers hacked him and fled the scene.
The Kundrakudi police rescued Chinnarasa and admitted him to the Karaikudi Government Hospital. However, he passed away without responding to treatment. Registering a case regarding this, the Kundrakudi police arrested two individuals: Nambumuneeswaran, 29, from Mandapam in Ramanathapuram district and his friend Ramasamy, 24, from Devakottai.
Police stated, Chinnarasa had been arrested in a ganja case and was imprisoned in Ramanathapuram district jail. During that time, he developed an acquaintance with Nambumuneeswaran, who was also in the jail. Due to the friendship. Nambumuneeswaran frequently visited Chinnarasa’s house. During these visits, Nambumuneeswaran got in touch with Vennila, who was living with Chinnarasa. Due to this, frequent disputes arose between Chinnarasa and Nambumuneeswaran. Harbouring this previous grudge, Nambumuneeswaran, along with his friend Ramasamy, hacked Chinnarasa to death.
