St. Louis-based Ascension has opened two pharmacies in Oshkosh, Wis., expanding its Ascension Rx footprint to 13 sites in the state.
The pharmacies opened at Ascension NE Wisconsin-Mercy Hospital and the Ascension NE Wisconsin-Koeller Street clinic, according to an Oct. 19 report from WBAY.
The Mercy Hospital pharmacy will support patients receiving hospital care and provide access to medications during and after their stay. It is also a Dispensary of Hope site, providing free medications to uninsured patients who struggle to afford their prescriptions.
Ascension Rx is open to community members regardless of whether they are or have been Ascension patients. Patients can receive prescriptions in-store, through home delivery or by mail service.
