Bolles junior defensive end Asher Ghioto can add another award to his collection.
USA TODAY selected Ghioto to the second-team defense for the Midseason All-America football teams, including the top players thus far across the country.
Ghioto, a top-five recruit nationwide in the class of 2028, has helped Bolles to a 5-1 start and the No. 1 seed in Florida High School Athletic Association Region 1-2A.
In his first six games of 2026, Ghioto has recorded 36 tackles (19 for loss) with eight sacks, a pass defense and a field goal block.
He also made the USA TODAY's All-USA Southeast Region defensive first team.
Also selected to the All-USA Southeast first team at the midway point was Mandarin junior wide receiver Brysen Wright, designated at the flex position.
Wright has 29 catches for 652 yards and seven touchdowns thus far, along with 92 yards rushing and 36 yards on returns. When playing at safety on defense, he has 19 tackles, an interception, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
Both Ghioto and Wright are rated as five-star prospects, among the nation's most coveted recruits.
