Vaazhum Kangal Eye Bank, a unit of M.N. Eye Hospital, in collaboration with the National Association for the Blind (NAB) organised an eye donation awareness programme at several senior citizens’ homes in the city on Thursday.
The annual awareness campaign has helped in more than 500 persons pledging their eyes for the social cause. Dr. Shruti Nishant, Paediatric Ophthalmologist, M.N. Eye Hospital, and Dipti Bhatai, CEO of NAB, participated.
