A trip to one of Lisbon’s best-known viewpoints could do more than provide a beautiful view of the city this October. It could also help make a seriously ill child’s wish come true.

Throughout the month, €1 from every ticket sold for the Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View will be donated to Make-A-Wish Portugal, a charity that helps children facing serious illnesses enjoy experiences they might otherwise never have.
The campaign is now in its eighth year, and it has already helped 11 children fulfil their wishes of visiting Disneyland Paris.
Positive experiences
Make-A-Wish Portugal works with children and teenagers aged three to 17 who are living with serious medical conditions, creating experiences that offer them and their families something positive to look forward to.
Margarida Galvão, the charity’s executive director, says the continued partnership has helped create lasting memories for the children and their families.
The Amoreiras viewpoint offers panoramic views across Lisbon, including the Tagus River, Belém Tower and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
The initiative runs until 31 October, giving visitors a chance to enjoy the city from above while contributing to a cause that has already made a difference to several families.
