Michigan State football lost their fourth consecutive game to Illinois this past week, but something clicked for the Spartans on offense in the contest, and a big part of the success came from the hand of Alessio Milivojevic. The Spartans quarterback led the team to a season high 37 points in the game, while getting 342 yards of total offense and scoring on 6-of-9 drives in the game.
Personally, Milivojevic went 22-for-26 for 196 yards and two touchdowns, while not turning the ball over in the game. It has been an up and down year for the Spartans quarterback, but the leadership Milivojevic possesses is not in question, and he showed it once again when he spoke to the media on Tuesday.
