Kuwait’s passport ranks third among 22 countries in the Arab League passport ranking, according to Passport Reports in this report dated 13 October 2026, while standing 85th worldwide.
The United Arab Emirates leads the Arab League comparison, followed by Qatar in second place. Kuwait comes next, ahead of Saudi Arabia in fourth. The grouping compares passport travel access among the countries included in the Arab League; membership does not itself grant automatic visa-free admission to other member states.
Passport Reports, an independent research and publishing platform, cover passports from 199 countries in 34 languages. It supports transparency by publishing its ranking criteria and applying the same evaluation rules to every passport. Its global ranking is based on the total number of destinations accessible visa-free, with electronic travel authorization, or with a visa on arrival. If totals match, it compares visa-free access first, followed by electronic travel authorization and then visas on arrival; passports share the same global rank when all those measures are equal.
The Arab League view on Passport Reports provides a regional comparison across the Gulf, the Levant, North Africa and the Horn of Africa, without replacing the passports’ separate global positions.
