Former MLB World Series champ Jimmy Rollins made waves online when he promoted The Pretty Kitty Klub, a women’s panties and apparel brand, in a series of Instagram posts on Wednesday.
Rollins, who is currently an analyst for TNT Sports, stated in his Instagram bio that he is the co-founder of the brand — and he posted modeling photos of women wearing various pieces, as well as alleged texts from satisfied customers.
Many questioned whether the 47-year-old future Hall of Famer was hacked, with some noticing that there is no mention of Rollins on the company’s website.
“Mr. Rollins is a co-founder of Pretty Kitty Klub,” the company said in a statement to The Post.
“Jimmy has taken a more private role, focused on the company’s long-term vision, strategic growth, and business development. That’s why he isn’t currently featured on the website.”
“Pretty Kitty klub is a brand focused on women, and the website is intentionally designed to center a woman’s perspective. Desiree LeSassier, the founder and CEO, leads the creative vision, product development, day-today operations.”
LeSassier previously worked in sports and entertainment, doing brand strategy, partnerships and experiences with organizations including the Lakers, Dodgers and Magic Johnson Enterprises.
Rollins played 17 MLB seasons, mostly with the Phillies, as well as stints with the Dodgers and White Sox.
He finished MLB career with a .264 average, 231 home runs and 936 RBIs
He was a Silver Slugger during his 2007 National League MVP season, a three-time All-Star and he won four Gold Gloves.
