HONGSEONG — South Chungcheong Province Governor Park Soo-hyun presented a letter of appointment to Kim Hyun-tae, the 13th president of Chungnam Technopark, at the provincial government office on the 22nd. Kim will serve a two-year term through Oct. 21, 2028.
Kim studied economics at Korea University and has held posts including vice chairman of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, president of Sejong Technopark and professor at the Catholic University of Korea, building expertise in small-business policy, corporate support and regional industry development.
"I will work to establish Chungnam Technopark as a core institution driving the growth of companies in the province and industrial innovation," Kim said. "We will strengthen South Chungcheong's industrial competitiveness through effective support based on corporate needs and by identifying new business opportunities."
