The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with a swath of injuries right now, especially to their wide receiver room.
Michael Pittman and Roman Wilson are both out for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so the top two wideouts are DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard.

The Steelers will have to rely on their deep tight end room again, which brings us to Pat Freiermuth.
Is Pat Freiermuth playing today?
Freiermuth was added to the injury report with a calf injury, but is active for Sunday’s game. Zachary Smith of Steelers Now was the first to report that Freiermuth was expected to play.
Freiermuth was fantastic for the Steelers last Sunday against the Colts, finishing with five receptions for 44 yards and two touchdowns. He has 19 receptions for 169 yards and four touchdowns to start the season.
Pat Freiermuth’s start or sit advice
Since he’s playing on Sunday, you should start him, since Mike McCarthy has been getting him the ball in every game. He understands that Freiermuth is one of the Steelers’ better playmakers, unlike former offensive coordinator Arthur Smith last year.
He’s also coming off that strong game against the Colts and will want to carry that momentum into this game.
Kickoff for Sunday’s Steelers-Bucs game will be at 1 p.m. ET.
