Another round of 50-50 raffles at the World Series in Milwaukee, another record.
Game 2 of the World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays brought a $131,774 prize pool to American Family Field on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The jackpot prize was claimed by a fan in time, according to the Brewers' 50-50 raffle information page.
In the 50-50 raffle, half of the cash goes to the Brewers Community Foundation and half goes to a lucky entrant whose ticket is drawn in the middle of the sixth inning.
A Brewers spokesperson confirmed the previous record was set at Game 1 of the World Series, where the prize pool hit $112,410.
American Family Field had another fuller-than-full house for Game 2, with attendance of 43,245 in the 41,900-seat stadium.
