KT (030200.KS) showcased collaborations that pair its own capabilities with startup technology to solve artificial intelligence transformation, or AX, challenges in industrial and workplace settings.
The telecom company held K-PATH 2026 on the 20th at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in the capital's Songpa district, presenting its main AX partnership cases with AI startups.
Officials from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Hyundai Motor attended the event, along with other venture and industry representatives.
In physical AI, KT presented cases involving Daim Technology and 3i. In agentic AI, it featured Sionic AI and Dalpha. Daim Technology is developing a physical AI-based factory operations service that combines integrated robot control with digital twin technology. 3i is building a public infrastructure physical AI service that automates the full process from detecting facility anomalies to dispatching robots, capturing images and analyzing them with AI.
The event also included presentations on startup support programs run by global information technology companies, as well as business meetings where participants discussed attracting investment and pursuing new business opportunities. "Through K-PATH, we will connect the technology of promising AI startups with KT's business capabilities to produce tangible commercialization results," said Park Sang-won, head of KT's AX business division. "We will develop AX demand across various industries into new business opportunities and expand an AX ecosystem where we can grow together with domestic AI companies."
