WEATHER warnings have been issued across Andalucia and Valencia as the final remnants of the Storm Adam storm prepare to batter the coast with heavy rain this afternoon.
From 2pm today, heavy showers and storms are expected to sweep across Andalucia, Murcia, Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencia region.
Spain’s state weather agency AEMET has maintained yellow warnings across the affected areas, predicting rainfall of up to 30mm in just one hour.
Forecasters at Meteored warn the active storm cores could also bring strong gusts of wind, heavy lightning, hail, and even waterspouts off the coast.

The weather system will move from south to north throughout the evening, eventually reaching the Balearics, Aragon and Catalunya with intense downpours by tomorrow morning.
It comes after an extremely severe weekend that saw red alerts triggered across Valencia, Andalucia and the Balearics.
Yesterday saw a staggering 350mm of rain fall in Barx-la Drova, Valencia, while the popular holiday island of Formentera recorded 180mm in a very short period.
The torrential downpours caused flash flooding and sudden surges in ravines and dry riverbeds.
The Valencia region could still see localised downpours of up to 80mm in 12 hours today as the storm finally dissipates.
