The Seattle Seahawks have a short week in which they really won’t have much practice time for their Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos. As such, the Week 6 injury report is all based on estimations off of whether players would be able to practice or not. This means I’m going to concoct a ridiculous headline and use “hypothetical” a lot in this article.
Tuesday’s injury report is not much different from Monday’s. In a world in which the Seahawks held a proper practice, Beau Stephens would be a full participant instead of a hypothetical limited participant. The only hypothetical DNP is linebacker Drake Thomas, whose ankle injury against the San Francisco 49ers wasn’t enough to keep him completely out of the game, but is an enough of an issue to keep him out of hypothetical practices and potentially the actual Broncos game.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s ankle tweak puts him in the limited “if I could practice” category, while Irv Charles is a full-go now that he’s on the active roster. It doesn’t look good for Chazz Surratt’s availability to play on Thursday, either.
Meanwhile, the signs are pointing toward the Denver Broncos being without star safety Talanoa Hufanga and premier cornerback Patrick Surtain II. Riley Moss figures to be returning from injury, so their starting secondary is not completely missing in action.
Here’s the real injury report for the hypothetical, estimated practices:
