THE RUNDOWN

Taylor Swift took the stage at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17, performing a selection of beloved songs.
She also debuted a dazzling second look for the occasion, trading her Dior gown for a glittering dress by Ralph Lauren.
Swift’s set included “Blank Space” and “Love Story,” two fan favorites spanning different eras of her career. She also performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her original song for Toy Story 5, before treating the audience to the first-ever live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia,” from her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift’s performance look featured a strapless bodice with delicate ruffled tulle detailing and a floor-length, semi-sheer navy skirt. Covered in small, star-like embellishments, the dress shimmered under the stage lights.
She also wore Cartier accessories including sapphire Destinée sleeper earrings and a high jewelry necklace.

Swift was joined by a crowd of Hollywood stars at the annual fundraiser supporting the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
The singer has spoken openly about how much she misses performing when she’s away from the stage, as well as how she feels art is a mirror ball.
“I’m still endlessly fascinated by people,” she said earlier this year, “by the human experience, by why people are the way they are, by the ways that they feel emotion.”
