This 2D open-world action RPG, loved by 93% of players, hits its lowest price on Steam

Drova - Forsaken Kin combines 2D pixel art graphics with an open world inspired by Celtic mythology. In this game, currently available for $12.49, a society has discovered the power to capture and control the spirits that govern nature. However, the anger of the spirits has divided this society.

You'll start your adventure with limited resources. Therefore, you'll have to explore this world, gather materials, craft items, and complete various quests.

But you'll have to choose between two factions: the Remnants and Nemeton. This choice will affect the rest of your adventure. Indeed, each faction has its own values and goals, and betrayals may also occur.

Furthermore, many threats lurk in this world, and you will have to face them. To ensure your survival in battle, learn and master various skills and increase your power.

Since its release on Steam on October 15, 2024, 9,830 players have left reviews, and 93% of them are positive. On Metacritic, the scores are lower, with a Metascore of 78 and a user score of 8.3. Like any game, it has several strengths, such as its exploration mechanics, progression system, and dark atmosphere.

However, some players feel that the game is too heavily inspired by Gothic. The storyline has also come under criticism for lacking depth, and its difficulty seems unbalanced.

According to SteamDB, this 50% discount ends on October 23, 2026, and after that date, its price will return to $24.99. And if you want to try it before buying it, a demo is also available on Steam.
