Cecily Strong is the latest “Saturday Night Live” alum to troll comedian Shane Gillis as the fallout from his controversial monologue rages on.
Gillis, who hosted this past weekend’s episode, made a joke about women who “dress like whores” in shorts at the gym, which has sparked intense backlash throughout Hollywood.
“On my way to Pilates in my new slutty ass orange shoes and rainbow socks,” Strong wrote in a new Instagram Stories post Wednesday, showing off her gym attire.
“Might sell sex on the way not sure,” she added.
Strong, who was a cast member on “SNL” for 11 seasons, also called out Gillis for making the joke while the Cornell 7 gang-rape case has made news this month.
“PS there was a gang rape at Cornell that maybe won’t count because the NY law says if you consent to drinking you consent to all that happens to you,” Strong, who exited the show in 2022 after 11 seasons, wrote in the post.
A rep for Gillis had no comment when Page Six reached out.
On Monday, former “SNL” star Ego Nwodim also trolled Gillis for the joke, sharing a selfie she took at the gym.
“Whore reporting for duty,” Nwodim wrote in the caption, flashing a peace sign while wearing a pair of leggings, sneakers and a long-sleeved shirt.
In the next Instagram Story, she snapped a picture of her breakfast, writing, “Getting my 30 grams of protein in after heauxing.”
Nwodim exited “SNL” last year after seven seasons on the sketch comedy program.
In his opening monologue last week, Gillis called out the shorts women wear at the gym, particularly the ones with “wrinkles [that] go around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole.”
He continued, “You’re not allowed to look. For real, don’t look, because they are filming. I’m in the background of about 10 TikToks right now.”
The monologue has not only drawn backlash from former “SNL” stars, but other A-listers alike.
“Schitt’s Creek” star Dan Levy said he was left “speechless” by Gillis’ opener, sharing in an Instagram Reel that women wearing shorts to the gym “doesn’t make them whores,” but instead, makes the men calling them that “misogynists.”
Jenna Bush Hager also slammed Gillis’ monologue during Tuesday’s episode of “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,” telling the audience that she would be “disgusted” if her husband, Henry Hager, ever spoke about someone that way.
“This perpetuates what is happening in our culture where people are commenting on women’s looks ad nauseam … and it’s not OK,” she told co-host Sheinelle Jones.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six Tuesday, Kathy Griffin labeled Gillis a “hack,” and grouped together men from the “TikTok or podcast world” that “all look like they can’t get laid.”
“There are so many; they all look alike to me. They all look like they can’t get laid; they all sound alike to me; they all tell the same jokes … and they tell these jokes about women that are from like 100 years ago, like women should be in the kitchen and shut up and all this other stuff,” Griffin told us.
Gillis was originally cast as a member of “SNL” in 2019, but was fired just five days later when past racist and homophobic comments resurfaced.
