South Korea's HiteJinro to make Japanese peer Kirin's beer at home

SEOUL -- Major South Korean liquor maker HiteJinro said Monday that it will begin producing Kirin Brewery's flagship Ichiban Shibori brand beer domestically, making it the first company in Asia with no capital ties to the Japanese brewer to receive a license for its production technology.
