Caleb Williams returned to action for the Chicago Bears in Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, re-taking the field after missing each of the last three games with a hamstring injury.
Williams was excellent in the Bears' 31-23 win, completing 30 of his 36 pass attempts for 305 yards and one touchdown through the air.
This impressive performance upon his return was enough to earn Williams some serious NFL recognition. On Wednesday, the league announced him as the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
"ICYMI: @CALEBcsw is so back," the Bears wrote on social media in response to the news.
“You’re itching on the sideline during the season,” Williams said after the Bears' fourth win of their 2026 campaign. “I’ve had a hamstring injury before, but it was at the end of the year. I had three weeks to be able to get back and play. And so being able to sit back and recover, recover, recover. And when I get back just to show who I am and who we are.”

Williams and the Bears now turn their attention toward a "Thursday Night Football" matchup against the New England Patriots, which will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET tomorrow.
