Captioned "Disconnect, Reset and Go Again!", the content shows Seoposenwe unwinding in a pool surrounded by lush greenery before climbing out of the water. She's dressed in a black two-piece swimsuit, dark sunglasses and braided hair. An indoor photo from the same session shows her pairing the swimsuit with a white cover-up, delicate jewellery and shades.
The casual post quickly drew a wave of reactions from supporters who were clearly not ready to see her in retirement colours.

Why Seoposenwe's Legacy Still Resonates
The affection from fans is rooted in what Seoposenwe built over roughly 15 years in a Banyana Banyana shirt, earning more than 100 caps along the way. Among the highlights of her international career were a gold medal at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations and a place in South Africa's historic squad at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, the country's first-ever appearance at the tournament.
She had signalled her intention to step away from international duty ahead of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which wrapped up in Morocco in July 2025, making that tournament her farewell to the national team.
At club level, however, Seoposenwe is still very much active. She currently plays for Mexican side CF Monterrey, having previously turned out for clubs in Portugal, Spain and Lithuania.
Her latest post carries no hint of an international comeback, suggesting she is simply taking the downtime her caption describes. But for fans who watched her help transform South African women's football, the calls for one more chapter are unlikely to stop anytime soon.
