Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke took to social media on Saturday to share how it felt to walk out of jail after spending 24 hours without Wi-Fi or a phone, following his release on conditional bail.
“How it feels walking out of jail after 24 hours with no Wi-Fi and phone,” Dipke wrote on X, accompanying the post with a meme featuring Shah Rukh Khan from Veer Zara movie.
In a subsequent post, Dipke said he was waiting for the release of others detained in connection with the CJP's protest. "Now just waiting for my brothers to be free" he wrote.

Dipke was granted conditional bail on Saturday and asked to sign a peace bond, police sources said. He was arrested earlier that morning for allegedly violating a peace bond he had furnished on October 10.
Dipke was detained moments after he stepped out of his house in Delhi's Jhandewalan area on Friday to participate in the CJP's "Lehra Do Tiranga" protest at Connaught Place.
Before the scheduled 5 pm march, more than 20 police personnel arrived at his residence to serve him two notices. The first notice barred him from holding a demonstration, procession or rally in the vicinity of Connaught Place. The second, issued by the special executive magistrate, concerned the peace bond conditions imposed on Dipke and CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.
The second notice reiterated that the three leaders had been taken into preventive custody and produced before a court, which had directed them to maintain peace and good behaviour for a year.
On October 10, police took Dipke, Das and Ranka into preventive custody ahead of a planned protest. They were produced before a special executive magistrate's court at the Delhi Cantonment police station and released after furnishing surety bonds of Rs 50,000 each and undertaking to maintain peace and good behaviour for a year.
Police arrested Dipke on Saturday morning for allegedly violating the peace bond he had furnished on October 10. He was subsequently produced before a special executive magistrate at the Mandir Marg police station, where he was granted bail subject to certain conditions.
"Based on the assurance given in the peace bond, he was let off. We are awaiting for the written order for further details," a senior police officer told PTI.
Police had not issued an official statement on the development at the time of the report. Authorities also stepped up security in and around the police station to maintain law and order.
Meanwhile, police detained more than 150 protesters on Friday and registered multiple FIRs for allegedly breaching prohibitory orders.
