Britania Allied Industries Limited won three Platinum awards, one Gold and one Silver at the 2026 East Africa Brand Quality Awards, recognising five brands across beverages, sauces and biscuits.
Britania Allied Industries Limited has won five honours at the 2026 East Africa Brand Quality Awards, with its brands recognised across categories covering fruit juices, sauces, soft drinks and biscuits.
The awards were presented during the sixth edition of the ceremony on October 16, 2026, at Hotel Africana and Convention Centre in Kampala, bringing together five accolades for the company’s product portfolio.
YoJus, TopUp and SunSip each received Platinum awards in the children’s natural fruit juice, tomato sauce and paste, and non-carbonated soft drinks categories, respectively. Splash won Gold in the natural fruit beverages category, while Britania Biscuits received Silver in the confectionery and biscuit products category.
The recognition highlights the range of products under the Britania portfolio, which caters to different consumer preferences and everyday needs. From beverages enjoyed at school or with friends to sauces used in meals and biscuits eaten during breaks, the company’s brands serve a variety of occasions.
“Every brand in our portfolio carries a responsibility to the consumer and to the Britania name behind it. Receiving five awards is a proud moment, but our daily task remains the same: to make products people can rely on. That responsibility belongs to every part of our business,” said Ali Ebraik, CEO of Britania Allied Industries Limited.
The company attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of its manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, marketing and distribution teams, whose work supports product quality and availability in the market.
Britania said the recognition also provides an opportunity for consumers familiar with individual products to discover other brands within its portfolio and strengthen their awareness of the company behind them.
“Consumers may first know us through Splash, YoJus, TopUp, SunSip or our biscuits. We want every positive experience with those products to build their confidence in Britania. These awards celebrate the individual brands and help tell the larger story of the company behind them,” said Victor Akatwijuka, Marketing Manager at Britania Allied Industries Limited.
Following the awards, the company said its priorities remain focused on maintaining manufacturing standards, developing products and improving consumer satisfaction.
For Britania, the five awards mark a milestone for its brands and the teams behind them, while the company says its broader ambition is to continue earning consumer trust across its portfolio.
