Two men who appeared at Tralee District Court in relation to firearm offences have requested that they be sent to Limerick Prison due to ‘issues’ at Cork Prison.
Anthony McNamara (41) with an address at 4 Ballygrennane Close, Moyross, Limerick and Joseph Power (30) with an address at Crean, Athlacca, Limerick have both been charged with the reckless discharge of a firearm at 28 Cois Coille in Tralee in June of this year.
Both men were represented by Brendan Ahern at Thursday’s court sitting, standing in for Limerick-based solicitors who represent the men.
