Original story 10/18/2026: Morgan Moses exits Jets game with ankle injury in first half
New England Patriots offensive tackle Morgan Moses is officially questionable to return to Sunday’s game due to an ankle injury.
The offensive tackle suffered the injury to his right ankle in the second quarter on an incompletion downfield. Moses stayed down on the turf and needed attention from the training staff before going to the blue medical tent. After a lengthy stay in the medical tent he departed to the locker room.
With the 35-year old sidelined, first-round pick Caleb Lomu was inserted at right tackle. Lomu played 47 snaps last week at left tackle in relief of Will Campbell, but has spent the majority of his Patriots tenure working on the right side.
The Patriots game day roster features no other primary offensive tackles. Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse, who both have previous tackle experience, are active along the offensive line.
