The flood in the Budhigandaki River on October 11 damaged the concrete bridge over the river, washing away a section on the Gorkha side.
The army's swift completion of the project within a short period has been appreciated by local residents.
Measuring approximately 27.43 meters in length and 4.2 meters in width, the Bailey bridge is expected to ease movement for residents in areas surrounding Dhading and Gorkha.
The NA said the installation and operation of the bridge would also facilitate the transportation of essential relief supplies and other emergency materials to flood-affected areas.
