The Seattle Seahawks' ground attack is hurting right now, but they will have to wait at least one more week before reinforcements arrive. Presumed starter Zach Charbonnet has been practicing all week, however that apparently has not enough to get him ready to go for NFL Week 7.
On Friday afternoon, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald announced that Charbonnet will be OUT for Seattle's Sunday night showdown with the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. Additionally, linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt are also OUT. The Seahawks will have to find a way to slow down their former Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III with a depleted linebacking corps.
There are a few other game time designations for Seattle. Linebacker Connor O'Toole, safety Nick Emmanwori and backup quarterback Drew Lock are all designated as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday night. Fortunately, there is no game time designation for starting right guard Anthony Bradford who just returned from injured reserve. Bradford will be good to go for the Seahawks.
As for the Chiefs, their No. 1 wide receiver Rashee Rice has been ruled OUT.
