Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has played down speculation linking Erling Haaland with a move to the German champions should Manchester City face relegation over their ongoing financial charges case.
Speaking to BILD on Sunday, Hainer was asked whether Bayern would consider signing the Norwegian striker if City were forced out of the Premier League.
The Bayern chief insisted that the club had sufficient attacking options and was under no immediate pressure to strengthen its forward line.
Hainer said: “We have Kane, Olise, Diaz and more. We scored over 120 goals last season. So, I think we are very well equipped in attack.”
Bayern’s current attacking options include Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz, with Hainer maintaining that the team is adequately equipped for the present.

However, he did not completely rule out the possibility of revisiting the situation in the coming years, suggesting that the club’s needs could change over time.
Hainer added: “If we’re talking about the future in a few years, then there will be a new situation, and we’ll see.”
Haaland’s future has attracted attention amid uncertainty surrounding Manchester City’s financial charges case, with severe sanctions, including possible relegation, remaining under discussion pending an appeal.
