If you know a local charity, school group, or volunteer team working tireless hours for children in Marbella, you now have the chance to secure them major funding and national attention. A black-tie charity boxing gala at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella on Saturday, November 7 is inviting the public to choose which children’s cause will receive the money raised on the night
A request with a big heart
New Era Boxing is less than three weeks away from its event and is asking local people to nominate a charity, community group or organisation that supports disadvantaged children and could benefit from the funds raised.
Anyone can put a name forward, whether they live in Marbella full time, spend winters on the coast or simply know a project doing good work. A nomination is just a recommendation: you tell the organisers which cause you think deserves help.
How to take part
The appeal is running on social media and asks for three small actions:
– Comment with the name of a charity or organisation.
– Tag anyone who might know of a suitable cause.
– Like and share the post so it reaches as many people as possible.
Expats who volunteer or donate locally may already have a group in mind, so this is a chance to give it some well-deserved attention.
What to expect on the night
Guests at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella will find a full boxing evening, dinner, and a charity auction and raffle. All proceeds will be presented to the chosen charity, a promise that sits neatly with the campaign’s message of “Stronger children, brighter futures”.
Ready to nominate?
Nominations are being collected through New Era Boxing’s social media pages, so head here, leave the name of your chosen cause and tag a friend who might know of another. Anyone who would like to attend the evening can find tickets and information at neweraboxing.com.
Big or small, any organisation working hard for children in Marbella deserves to be heard, so add your nomination today.
