Ubud sits at the cultural heart of Bali, where art, nature and a slow pace of life shape every day.
Kaamala Resort & Spa Ubud fits right into that rhythm. It is a lotus-inspired retreat for couples, wellness seekers and anyone after a more thoughtful stay.
One Stay, Nothing to Plan
Kaamala has introduced Ubud’s first all-inclusive resort programme, built around dining, wellness, and culture. The idea is simple, which is to arrive and let the days take care of themselves.
Your stay opens with a welcome spa ritual, and the next morning begins with a yoga class for two. Breakfast follows, then a curated cultural experience fills the hours before lunch.
Lunch and dinner for two are part of every day, with scheduled transfers to Ubud Centre whenever you feel like wandering into town. By evening, there is nothing left to arrange, only a good dinner to look forward to.
Choose Your Pour
PURE is the gentle option, with non-alcoholic drinks available all day, from the first coffee to the last evening glass. It suits guests who want to eat well, move gently and keep every drink alcohol free.
BLOOM keeps everything in PURE and opens up the bar as well. Guests can enjoy house beer, wine by the glass, spirits and cocktails alongside soft drinks, juices, mocktails, tea and coffee.
Quiet Corners With a View
Design across the resort follows the lotus philosophy, favouring calm, warm spaces that open up to the landscape. The One Bedroom Villa with Rice Field View suits couples who want a pool of their own, while the Presidential Two Bedroom Villa gives families and friends more room to share.
The suites are built around the view, with the Suite with Valley View and the Suite with Rice Field View framing the landscape through warm timber interiors. For easy access to the water, the Suite Valley View with Lagoon Access opens straight to the resort’s lagoon pool.
Long Meals and Gentle Rituals
Italian tradition meets Balinese craftsmanship at Habitat Bistro, a relaxed dining spot with a view. Guests can start with the Ginchanting Eden, follow it with the Pappardelle alla Ragù and finish on the Tiramisu.
Shichirin Ubud puts Japanese cooking on show, with chefs working at an open teppanyaki grill. Signature picks include the Fiery Blazing Sushi, the Sakura Martini and the Tempura Matcha Ice Cream.
Seven Paintings Ubud turns dinner into a seven-part journey, where every course plays out like a piece of art. It is made for guests who want an evening that feels like an occasion.
Wild Air is the newest addition to the resort, serving a mix of Asian and Western cuisine with views over the valley. It works at any hour, from an unhurried morning meal to a relaxed dinner.
Svaha Spa Bisma is where guests slow down and unwind after a day out. The menu of experiences includes Floating Sound Healing.
Rituals From Dawn to Dusk
Each day at Kaamala follows the rhythm of the lotus, starting with a morning offering and a guided walk. Evenings close with a quiet minute of silence, then a twilight ceremony of floating lotus candles.
Guests can also move through a Lotus Flow Pilates session, set to calming affirmations. At the Lotus Infusion Station, they can mix a lotus-infused drink of their own.
A Short Trip From Everything
Located on Jalan Bisma, the resort is five minutes from the Sacred Monkey Forest. From the forest, the Campuhan Ridge Walk is a 15-minute trip for a scenic morning stroll, and the Tegallalang Rice Terrace is 20 minutes away for the full green views.
