How to watch Rangers v St Johnstone
Rangers will look to get back to winning ways when they host St Johnstone at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
A run of seven consecutive victories came to an end last weekend when Derek McInnes’ side were held to a 2-2 draw by Dundee at Dens Park.
The result saw Rangers fall four points behind Celtic at the top of the table but they have the chance to apply some pressure by closing the gap back to one point ahead of the defending champions visiting Hibs on Sunday.
St Johnstone have had an encouraging start to their first season back in the top flight following their Championship title win last term.
Simo Valakari’s men have collected 12 points from their opening nine matches and sit fifth in the table. They have lost only once in their last six matches and that was a narrow 1-0 defeat to Celtic.
The Perth side also boast the division’s joint top scorer with striker Josh Fowler netting six league goals thus far - the same number as Celtic midfielder Benjamin Nygern. The closest Rangers player is Ryan Naderi with four.
Rangers have won their past nine meetings with St Johnstone in all competitions by an aggregate score of 18-1 since a 2-1 league defeat in November 2022.
