IMPHAL, Oct 16 :FC Raengdai defeated KRYPHSA, Naoremthong 2-0 in the second semi-final match of the 1st Manipur Police Football Cup 2026 at the Lamlong Artificial Turf Ground to book their spot in the final against NEROCA FC.
Second-half goals from Maibam Thoungamba (65’) and Kamei Langanglung (70’) sealed the victory for Raengdai.
With a coveted place in the grand finale at stake, both sides started cautiously. Defensively sound displays from both squads ensured a cagey, goalless affair heading into the halftime break.
FC Raengdai returned for the second half with renewed intent and finally broke the deadlock in the 65th minute through Thoungamba.
KRYPHSA’s hopes were further dented just five minutes later when Langanglung doubled the advantage. Despite KRYPHSA’s late efforts to mount a comeback, FC Raengdai held firm to protect their clean sheet and secure the final slot.
NEROCA FC edged out CFA 3-2 in the first semi-final earlier on October 14 to confirm their place in the final.
