Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon, while paying tribute to Mother of Democracy Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 15th death anniversary, said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s democratic struggle and sacrifices are an unforgettable chapter in history. Mother of Democracy waged an unparalleled struggle for democracy, the supremacy of the Constitution, and public rights, and remained steadfast in her principles while facing all kinds of difficulties.
In a statement, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that after Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto took the lead in the democratic struggle and played a key role in the restoration of democracy. Despite the hardships of imprisonment and all other difficulties, she did not step back from her mission to restore democracy. She dedicated her life to democracy, the supremacy of the Constitution, and the ideology of the Pakistan Peoples Party.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that carrying forward the mission of strengthening democracy, upholding the supremacy of the Constitution, and serving the people under the leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari is equivalent to paying a true tribute to the martyred leaders. He said that Mother of Democracy Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s political struggle, steadfastness, and sacrifices will always be remembered, and her democratic struggle will continue to serve as a guiding light for future generations.
