Sean “Diddy” Combs was treated for a head injury early Saturday morning outside of the federal prison where he currently makes his home.
Sources at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey told TMZ that the ambulance left the prison around 1 a.m., but the injury was non-life-threatening
TMZ sources said the 56-year-old rapper was conscious and speaking when he was taken back to the prison before sunrise Saturday.
Presumably, he was treated at a nearby hospital, but TMZ has been unable to confirm that.
It’s still unclear how Combs hurt his head.
“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” said Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer to PEOPLE. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”
Combs has had an event-filled few weeks behind bars.
Rapper returned to solitary after living pampered life behind bars
The Bad Boy Records founder was sent back to solitary confinement after an NBC News report claimed he was living the good life in the slammer including getting massages, and having access to alcohol and a cellphone with nude pictures.
Four anonymous men, who spent time in the same unit as Diddy, also claimed he has people who cook and clean for him.
“This is not some normal s*** you see in jail. This is some rich s***,” one of the men told NBC News. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
Sources also claimed Combs had access to antidepressant drugs.
At the time, a Bureau of Prisons rep told Page Six they do not comment on inmates’ conditions due to “privacy, safety and security reasons.”
Also in July, he got into a fight with another inmate.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after he was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution last year.
His federal prison release date has been pushed back several weeks from Jan. 21, 2028, to March 21, 2028.
