vivo unveiled the X500 family in China last month, and it's already revealed that the European launch event will take place on October 27. A new leak today tells us about the devices' European prices, but there's a twist - apparently, only two of the three models will be available in Europe.
The 'vanilla' X500 may not be launching in Europe at all. There's a slim chance it could be coming later on, but according to a usually reliable source, it won't land at the same time as the X500 Pro and the X500 Pro Max. Speaking of which, the X500 Pro is allegedly going to be priced at €1,399.

It will be offered with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for that price, and it's unclear whether more configurations will be available too. The phone will have two color options in Europe - Moonlit Black and Sunny White.
Meanwhile, the X500 Pro Max will be priced at €1,799 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, coming in Moonlit Black and Starry Gray. If you want the Pro Max with the Photographer Kit, that will set you back a whopping €1,999.
Of course, this is unconfirmed information, but earlier this month a leak also spelled out the European prices for Oppo's Find X10 series, which is landing on the continent on October 21, and those are actually very similar - the Find X10 Pro Max and the vivo X500 Pro Max may in fact have the exact same price in Europe, and ship with exactly the same RAM and storage amounts.
If all of these rumors pan out, then both Oppo's and vivo's latest flagships will be €50 cheaper in Europe than the iPhone 18 Pro Max with the same amount of storage. All of this is to say that the new reality of smartphone pricing in the EU these days is pretty crazy.
