The Philadelphia Eagles are banged up especially on the offensive side of the ball including Super Bowl champion quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts told the media at his Wednesday press conference that he injured his calf during the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
He was noticeably late getting on the field in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5, and many wondered why.

What Jalen Hurt said
Hurts explained that his delayed arrival on the field was because he stayed on the exercise bike in the locker room as long as possible to keep his calf muscle warm. He missed the National Anthem. Hurts also said that was the reason he came out of the Jaguars game at the last minute.
His injury likely affected the game plan.
Hurts is listed on the lengthy Eagles’ Wednesday 10/14 injury report with a calf injury but was a full practice participant.
