Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has invited Chinese technology company Huawei to collaborate with the provincial government and local institutions to establish technology labs and strengthen digital infrastructure in Karachi.
The invitation came during meetings with Chinese officials and technology sector representatives in Shanghai on October 16. The discussions focused on potential cooperation in digital technology, data management, and advanced computing infrastructure.
During the meetings, both sides discussed possible collaboration in government cloud services, data centers, disaster recovery systems, cybersecurity, and computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI).
