How to Claim Free Witcher 3 Gear in Cyberpunk 2077: Ariadne Quest Guide

Cyberpunk 2077’s newest Edgerunners 2 Update (v2.5) brings a host of new content, including dual-wielding, console mod support, a new clothing collection, side quests, and more. However, CD Projekt Red has also hidden several secrets in the new Cyberpunk 2077 2.5 update, including free The Witcher 3 gear linked to the new contact Ariadne. Here’s how to claim the rewards, featuring a themed sword, knife, jacket, and other cosmetics.

After updating Cyberpunk 2077 to Edgerunners 2 version 2.5, you’ll receive a message from the new clothing contact, Ariadne. Start a conversation with her, and she’ll send you details about new cosmetics, clothing options, and gear available across Night City.

Once you finish the conversation, follow the steps below to claim The Witcher 3 gear:

• Open the Cyberpunk 2077 menu and use the ‘Skip Time’ option to advance 24 hours.
• Wait for Ariadne to contact you about a free package delivered to V’s apartment in Watson.
• Fast-travel to Megabuilding H10 in Little China, Watson District.
• Enter the apartment to find the package to the left of the entrance.
• Open the Stash to retrieve the following The Witcher 3-themed rewards:
  • Sihil Sword (Iconic)
  • Boar Carver (Knife)
  • Ursine Pants
  • Ursine Jacket
  • The Professor’s Spectacles

How to Complete Ariadne’s Quest in Cyberpunk 2077: Take V’s Photos

Once you obtain The Witcher 3 gear, you can continue Ariadne’s quest, which further involves taking a photo of V with these outfits equipped and sending it to the contact using Photo Mode. Once Ariadne approves your style, she’ll reward you with 4,300 Eddies.

This is the second round of The Witcher 3 cosmetics that appear in Cyberpunk 2077. The game originally offered the Wild Hunt Jacket and Geralt’s Gwynbleidd sword as rewards for linking your CD Projekt Red account and owning The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered.

Keep in mind that you may need to disable your Cyberpunk 2077 mods for The Witcher 3 gear to appear, as several players have reported missing cosmetics with mods enabled.

Furthermore, you won’t receive the gear if you pick the “[SEND TO SPAM]” option during your first conversation with Ariadne. Lastly, you can claim the gear immediately after you start a new playthrough, regardless of your in-game progress.
