TL;DR: Store your accounts, documents, and final instructions in an encrypted vault on your own computer with a LegacyLocked lifetime subscription for $49 (MSRP $99).
If something happens to you, your family will need your bank logins, insurance policies, and account numbers, and most people keep that information scattered across drawers, inboxes, and sticky notes. LegacyLocked puts all of it in one encrypted vault on your Windows or Mac computer, and a lifetime subscription is on sale for $49 (MSRP $99).
LegacyLocked Digital Estate Planning Vault: Lifetime Subscription
A spreadsheet of passwords is not a plan, and nothing in it is protected.
LegacyLocked encrypts every item on your computer before it’s saved, so not even the company can read your vault. Folders hold financial accounts, insurance, legal documents, crypto details, key contacts, and final instructions, and each kind of record gets its own item type instead of getting crammed into a password field.
Your vault stays on your own computer, not on someone else’s server. Once it’s set up, the vault works fully offline. Global search finds any item in seconds, and a local history logs every change you make.
Please note that LegacyLocked is desktop only, with no phone or tablet app yet, and cloud backup and automated release to your trustees aren’t included and require a separate paid service. You decide how your family gets in, so leave device and vault access instructions with someone you trust. Your one-time $49 also covers future software updates, so the vault keeps improving without another bill. New and existing users can both buy, and you have 30 days to redeem your code.
There’s no reason to pay a monthly fee to protect this information.
