The Pittsburgh Steelers have dealt with their fair share of injuries over the past few weeks, and several of these setbacks resulted in three players being ruled out for the Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Courtesy of the team's final Week 6 injury report, the Steelers announced that wide receiver Roman Wilson, wide receiver Ben Skowronek and safety DeShon Elliott (injured reserve) would miss Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Wilson, who's had an outstanding start to Year 3 with Pittsburgh, suffered a finger injury in the Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He was not expected to play in Week 6 but could make his return against the New Orleans Saints in Paris.
Skowronek also picked up his injury in the Week 5 win over the Colts, a calf issue he sustained during a punt return in the first half of play. He wasn't expected to play in Week 6, and his absence will be sorely felt as both a special teamer and depth receiver.
Elliott, who was placed on injured reserve to start the season, missed 12 games in 2025 and will now miss his fifth straight game in 2026. His return to the field appears to be near, however, as the Steelers officially opened Elliott's 21-day window to be activated off injured reserve on October 8. In all likelihood, Elliott could make his 2026 debut in Week 7 against the Saints in Paris.
