Selma Blair was arrested after allegedly attacking members of the flight crew aboard a Delta aircraft on Sunday.
The actress, 54, reportedly attempted to open the aircraft door while the plane was in the air on its way to John F. Kennedy International Airport from LAX, leading to a 'confrontation' with crew members.
It was claimed Blair punched one flight attendant and bit another, after trying to open the plane's door in the middle of the flight - with Delta confirming the arrest to The Daily Mail.
A Delta spokesman told The Daily Mail, 'Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.'
The Daily Mail also understands law enforcement responded upon the flight's arrival at JFK.
The New York Port Authority TMZ two flight attendants reported injuries and one was taken to the hospital.
A representative for Blair told the publication, 'Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.'
Blair was arrested and taken to a hospital for evaluation, where she remains as of this post. The FBI is currently investigating the incident.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Blair for comment and has yet to hear back.
In 2016 Blair apologized following a bizarre incident that happened aboard a Delta flight - where she allegedly mixed alcohol and medication before she started crying and shouting about being abused on the flight home from Cancun.
'I made a big mistake yesterday. After a lovely trip with my son and his Dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret,' said Blair in a statement to Vanity Fair.
'My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace. I take this very seriously, and I apologize to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath. I
'I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry.'
