Hilary Swank brought a splash of colour to New York City as she stepped out with her baby bump on display, just one day after revealing her family is growing again.
The 52-year-old actress smiled broadly and waved to onlookers as she left CBS Studios on Thursday, 15 October.
Her appearance followed the announcement that she and husband Philip Schneider are expecting their third child, a younger sibling for their three-year-old twins, Aya and Ohm.

Worn open, her chunky cardigan was the standout piece. Oversized loops of yellow, pink, lilac and sky-blue yarn gave the cropped knit a wonderfully tactile finish, while its shorter length left her growing bump visible.
Hilary added another burst of colour with an orange-red envelope clutch, complete with a small gold fastening. Dark pointed footwear peeked out beneath her jeans, while delicate layered necklaces brought a little sparkle to the casual ensemble.

Her long brunette hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders, with lighter strands framing her face. Rosy cheeks and a soft pink lip completed the look.
The actress raised a hand to greet those gathered outside, giving a closer glimpse of her rings and the cardigan's statement sleeves.

The outing came after Hilary found an inventive way to share her pregnancy news on Instagram on Wednesday, 14 October.
She enlisted Philip and their twins for a family dance, with glow sticks attached to their clothes creating illuminated figures against the darkness. The giveaway was a tiny baby outline positioned over Hilary's stomach.
"A lot of people have been asking what project I'm doing next, this one releases in December," she wrote, hinting at when the family expects to welcome its newest member.

It was a fitting announcement for an actress, with the whole family taking part in the reveal. Aya and Ohm, who arrived in April 2023, are now preparing to become older siblings.
Hilary and Philip married in 2018, and she was 48 when she welcomed their twins.

On Valentine's Day in 2024, she posted a photograph of the twins sitting on a beach, with Aya and Ohm written in the sand behind them. It was the first time she had publicly revealed their names.

That same month, Hilary appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she spoke about how life had changed with two little ones at home.
Asked about motherhood, she acknowledged both its demands and its delights: "It's more everything than I ever thought it would be. It's more glorious, it's the most extraordinary thing in the world."
