Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026.
- UFC Vegas 122 winner Brendson Ribeiro pleads for help to locate missing brother: All the best to the Ribeiro family, this is a sad story.
- Kayla Harrison: Ronda Rousey dominated women from cardio-kickboxing classes: Is Kayla Harrison correct to some degree? Sure. Has Harrison also beat up a lot of subpar competition? Most definitely.
- Alex Pereira accuses Dana White and Co. of ‘manipulation’ to book Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit UFC 334 title fight: Does the UFC even need to manipulate anyone to book the fights they want to book? They have total control!

Michael Bisping’s son, Callum Bisping, is an amateur Heavyweight and just suffered his first career loss. Better to learn in the amateurs than the pros!

“News is coming …” Ruffy already teasing a return to action?!? He got knocked out less than a month ago!
I dislike the narrative that Ben Askren definitely would have won were it not for the flying knee. Masvidal was operating at a very high level leading into that fight, and Askren never built a full MMA game. Regardless of all that: cool show of respect here.
Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren break down Masvidal’s ICONIC flying knee KO from both of their perspectives 👀

🗣️Askren: “l couldn’t predict it. I didn’t know where it’s coming from, and your brain brings these prediction pattern. Like you said, I was never hit with a flying knee… pic.twitter.com/5kd60KCVit
How does Merab Dvalishvili change his approach for the third fight? I think more low kicks and more wrestling right away, but Petr Yan is still a tall task.
🫡🇬🇪 Merab Dvalishvili reveals that halfway through the rematch with Petr Yan, he knew he wouldn’t win so he tried to just enjoy it.

“In the second round I tried to take Yan down and when I couldn’t I said ‘f*ck what can I do now’.

How many times would prime Ronda Rousey vs. prime Kayla Harrison have to fight before the armbar lands? Five, 10, 100?
Kayla Harrison when asked how a fight between her and prime Ronda Rousey would go:
— UFC on Paramount+ (@UFConParamount) October 12, 2026
🗣️ Kayla: "How do you think that would go?"
🗣️ Weidman: "Her armbars were ridiculous though."
🗣️ Kayla: "We learned the armbar at the same gym together. You think she is going to armbar me?… pic.twitter.com/QnZbeJpRGx
Nothing like a little GOAT discussion … I agree with Whittaker over Weidman on the virtues of beating so many top contenders over a prolonged period of excellence, but I do think it’s way too soon to have Khamzat in the Top Five off two great wins alone.

Bobby Green has been fighting FOREVER and is still a Top 25 or so Lightweight in the world. Insane longevity!

Ignore the referee incompetence … this is a remarkable comeback victory.
