QUETTA: The 20 police recruits from the Kalat Police Training Centre, who were abducted by unidentified men on Friday, have been safely recovered, officials told Dawn.
The recruits, who were kidnapped while en route to Noshki from Kalat in a private van, were recovered from the Mangochar area of Kalat district, sources said.
A senior police officer told Dawn that “all personnel are safe and sound”.
The trainees were going home for the weekend when they were taken away by armed men from the Quetta-Karachi Highway.
