The Detroit Lions officially activated defensive back Brian Branch from the reserve/PUP list and center Cade Mays from the reserve/injured list on Saturday, Oct. 24, adding both players to the active roster for a pivotal NFC North contest against the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field.
The Lions listed both players as questionable on Friday's injury report, but removed them after being activated. The team plans to start Mays at center instead of reserve Juice Scruggs and add Branch to a slumping secondary.
"Cade and Branch are doing good here," Campbell said on Friday.

The Packers officially activated former All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs, who spent the first six weeks on the commissioner's exempt list, for the contest, along with defensive tackle Jordon Riley. The Lions expected Jacobs to make his season debut.
"Obviously that's going to boost everything," defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard said. "Everybody's just looking at the run game. It's going to open up everything. It's going to boost everything."
