Fearless Energy Drink, the bold and refreshing brand from Rite Foods Limited, is back as the Exclusive Energy Drink Sponsor of Felabration 2026, the globally acclaimed annual festival that celebrates the life, music, and legacy of the legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
This year’s celebration, themed “Who Are You?,” holds in Lagos from Monday, October 12 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the iconic New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja.
The festival celebrates the individuality, creativity, and bold expression that defined Fela’s life and continue to influence Nigerian music and culture.
The theme captures the spirit of self-expression and individuality that Fela championed and that Fearless Energy Drink continues to celebrate, encouraging people to embrace their uniqueness, express themselves boldly, and stand out without fear.
For Fearless, the festival is more than a gathering to celebrate a music legend. It is an opportunity to give people a platform to express themselves, showcase their abilities, and enjoy the excitement of live entertainment.
The brand will bring this promise to life through two talent-focused activations.
On Tuesday, October 13, the Fearless Rap Challenge will invite aspiring rappers to take the microphone, demonstrate their lyrical skills, and compete for rewards.
The excitement continues on Friday, October 16, with the Fearless Dance Challenge, allowing dancers to bring their signature moves to the floor.
Both activations will feature consumer rewards, building excitement towards the festival’s grand finale on Sunday, October 18.
Speaking on the sponsorship, Adeniyi Aderuku, Brand Manager, Fearless Energy Drink, said the brand’s participation reflects its commitment to celebrating young Nigerians’ creativity and individuality.
“Fela challenged people to think differently, speak boldly, and stand for what they believe in.
“At Felabration, Fearless is creating opportunities for people to express themselves, showcase their talent, and be part of an experience that celebrates originality.
“It is about giving people the confidence and platform to show the world who they are,” Aderuku said.
Fearless Energy Drink’s return builds on its growing association with Felabration.
In 2021, the brand presented a posthumous award to Fela at the Afrika Shrine in recognition of his courage, originality and contribution to African music.
