A Free State homeowner turned heads on social media after sharing a dramatic before-and-after video of her home renovation. The woman shared the clip on her Facebook account under the handle Nqobi-Mfundo Nkosi on 8 December 2025, and it quickly drew thousands of admiring viewers who could not believe it was the same property. The footage opened with the house in its original state: bare walls, plain tile flooring, empty rooms and basic fixtures throughout. The kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom all looked as plain as a blank canvas.
From bare walls to beautiful spaces
What came next left viewers speechless. The renovated kitchen featured dark modern cabinetry paired with sleek appliances. The living room came alive with a plush leather sectional sofa and carefully chosen wall art. The bedroom was neatly put together with coordinated bedding and smart storage solutions, while the bathrooms had been polished into clean, stylish spaces. Together, the changes turned a cold, empty house into something that felt genuinely lived in and loved.
