The Los Angeles Rams are 2-4 on the year, and they've been getting hit very hard by injuries so far this season. Puka Nacua recently suffered a calf injury at practice, just days after losing Davante Adams for at least the next five weeks.
With the 2026 season seemingly falling apart for the Rams, any good news is very notable for the Rams. That's why the latest update on Myles Garrett is such good news.
According to Ian Rapoport on The Pat McAfee Show, the Rams might be getting Garrett back at practice after Week 7, with a return to the team in Week 8 a possibility for the superstar edge rusher.
Rams get good news on Myles Garrett with potential return to practice
"I was told for Myles Garrett that it is likely to return to practice next week," Rapoport said Thursday afternoon. "Could potentially play Week 8, but Myles Garrett likely returning to practice next week."

This is finally some good news on the injury front for the Rams lately. With the bad news on Nacua, Adams, and the injuries to Poona Ford and Kobie Turner, it's finally time for good news for the Rams.
Garrett, who's been out since before most of the NFL played their Week 1 games, is closing in on a return based on this report from Rapoport.

The superstar edge rusher, coming off a 23-sack season, has a lot of work to do to make up for his extended absence this season. That might begin for the Rams in Week 8.
For now, Garrett is going to miss Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders. But when the Rams face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8, they might get Garrett back.
But it wouldn't be a surprise if the Rams were careful with Garrett and waited another week to bring him back. That could mean Week 9 against the Washington Commanders is in play.
He's already missed five games and will miss a sixth in Week 7. Garrett might miss more time, but this report from Rapoport is a huge one that finally gives the Rams some positive injury news after some brutal updates in recent weeks.
