The Sunday, 25 October episode of Carte Blanche investigates a disturbing case involving a teenager allegedly obsessed with school shootings, a dark online network where violent fantasies were reportedly encouraged and shared, and a brutal attack on a six-year-old girl.
The investigation explores how group chats, teenage relationships and disturbing fixations allegedly intersected in a hidden digital world where violence was glorified.
It also raises critical questions about whether the attack could have been prevented if warning signs had been recognised and acted upon, examining the online interactions and concerning behaviour that may have preceded the shocking incident.
