Credit reference agency TransUnion has made a raft of leadership appointments within its UK and Europe division. All appointments are effective immediately.
Former Barclaycard director Mahesh Bharadhwaj has been brought in as the new chief data and analytics officer following Praneeth Meka's promotion to the equivalent role for TransUnion's wider international business.
Bharadhwaj brings over 20 years' experience in senior analytics and credit risk positions, including director of Funding Circle's Europe analytics, chief analytics officer at Jaja Finance, and acting chief risk officer for Barclaycard's German operations.
Ashley Hart, who previously oversaw operations for Flutter's UK arm, has joined to replace Laura Barley as chief operating officer (COO). Barley, who held the UK COO role for more than four years, has moved into the position of VP for international CX transformation.
Hart's career spans almost two decades and includes roles at TSB Bank as head of fraud and at Monzo as director overseeing financial crime and fraud operations. He has also served on Mastercard's European fraud advisory council.

Additionally, TransUnion has announced that Catherine Diamond, formerly chief people officer at Tandem Bank, has been hired as chief human resources officer. She succeeds Kaushik Gopalan, who the company says has returned to India, where he continues to consult for business.
Finally, Stephen Wishart, who joined TransUnion in 2016, has been promoted to chief revenue officer for the UK. His previous positions at the US-based firm include head of lending sales, business development officer, and VP of sales overseeing UK financial services.
In his new role, Wishart will lead the UK sales and sales specialist teams, taking on some of the responsibilities previously held by chief commercial officer Sam Welch, who announced his departure last week. In a LinkedIn post, Welch revealed that Priven Moodley, senior director for marketing strategy, planning and insights, will be "leading the remaining functions for which I was responsible".
The new appointments join a UK and Europe C-suite that includes CEO Madhusudan Kejriwal and chief financial officer Sharon Naidoo.
