With capacity that expands from 24 to 30 litres, this Xkdoai cabin backpack has earned five-star praise from shoppers using it for holidays, work trips and weekends away.
A cabin backpack that expands to give you extra packing space has dropped to £14.99 in a limited-time Amazon deal, with shoppers praising its roomy design and versatility for everything from holidays to work trips.
The black Xkdoai expandable Ryanair cabin backpack is currently £14.99, down 38% from its £23.99 RRP. Its clever design starts at 24 litres and expands to 30 litres, giving you more space when you need it without having to carry a separate bag. The Xkdoai expandable cabin backpack is designed to measure 40 x 30 x 20cm in its standard configuration, expanding to 40 x 30 x 25cm.
That flexibility could be particularly useful for anyone trying to make the most of their cabin allowance. The standard dimensions are designed around Ryanair's free carry-on bag size, while the expanded version offers extra capacity. However, travellers should check their airline's current baggage rules and the allowance included with their ticket before flying, as the larger dimensions may not qualify for the same free allowance.
Two five-star reviews highlight just how much shoppers have managed to fit inside the backpack. One buyer purchased it ahead of a holiday to Spain because they were worried that two suitcases would not be enough for their trip.
“This holds a surprising large amount,” they wrote, praising the handy compartments for essentials such as keys and passports. They were also impressed by the colour, which they said was different from the usual black travel bags, and described it as “super value for money”.
Another reviewer said they had used the expandable Xkdoai backpack for work trips, everyday office visits and weekend breaks. They praised its capacity, saying it could hold even a week's worth of clothes alongside a laptop, with plenty of compartments to keep everything organised. Their verdict was an enthusiastic “10/10”.
Beyond the extra packing room, the backpack has a flat-front design intended to maximise its internal space without adding unnecessary bulk. The main compartment is designed for clothing and travel essentials, while a padded laptop sleeve accommodates devices up to 15.6 inches. Exterior pockets provide quick access to smaller items, and a hidden anti-theft pocket offers a more discreet place for valuables.
The bag is made from durable nylon with a water-repellent coating to help protect belongings from light rain and splashes. Reinforced stitching and sturdy zips are intended to make it suitable for repeated use, whether you're heading through an airport, commuting to work or packing for a weekend away.
Comfort is another consideration, with padded ergonomic shoulder straps and a breathable back panel designed to make carrying the backpack easier on longer journeys. It also includes an internal USB port, allowing you to connect a compatible power bank to charge a device while on the move. The power bank itself is not stated as included.
The £14.99 price applies to the black version. Dark grey and misty purple are also available, but prices vary by colour, although those options are discounted too. Other sizes are listed, with prices varying accordingly.
With its expandable capacity, laptop compartment and positive shopper feedback, the Xkdoai cabin backpack could be worth considering if you're looking for a versatile bag for both travel and everyday use without spending a fortune. The deal is limited-time, so the price and availability may change.
